ProLine PL-200 X-Braced Keyboard Stand Review
I bought the PL-200 X-Braced stand for my Casio CDP-100 88-key, hammer-action keyboard. Please note that the product description is misleading! The PL-200 is advertised to support medium to large keyboards, however, as you can see in the video, the stand is wider than the keyboard, causing the keyboard slide back and forth when I play. See how the stand sticks out? See how the keyboard shakes, even on the slow, light parts? The knobs on the stand prevent the keyboard from falling off, but all the sliding around is really inconvenient for playing. That being said, if you're playing music like this, you really should invest in a digital or acoustic piano rather than a keyboard. I mainly use this keyboard for arranging, so the stand is great for just propping it up while I work. The height of the stand can be adjusted from 27"-37", and actually what I really like about is is the quick-release lever. It really is easy to put together and adjust. However, overall, I think the stand is over-priced for the limited support it provides.
